The Mohawk Valley Women's Basketball Team traveled to Onondaga Saturday afternoon, for a 1:00 PM matchup against the Lazers.

Carrying a 6 game winning streak into the game, the Hawks were impressive in the opening quarter and battled despite having a short bench. The Hawks were leading after 1 with a score of 

21-15, and the score was reversed by the Lakers in the second quarter 15-21, which led to a tied half and a high octane second half. 

Despite excellent performances by many of the Hawks, the Lazer pulled away late and were led by 25 points by Macey DeOrdio. 

Mohawk Valley's Womens Basketball team continues their season on  Wednesday evening as they take on Hudson Valley in a 5:00 PM TIP.
