McGee Propels Hawks Over Corning, 64-52

Led by a standout performance from Nataya McGee, who finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds, the Hawks overcame a one-point halftime deficit and a tough third quarter to finish strong. Despite trailing by a slim margin at the break, Mohawk Valley's defense proved to be the difference-maker, holding Corning to just 8 points in the final period.

The Hawks erupted offensively in the fourth quarter, pouring in 23 points to secure the comeback victory. Coach Coffey's squad tightened up defensively when it mattered most, limiting the Red Barons' scoring opportunities and capitalizing on key turnovers.

Mohawk Valley (8-5) will now look ahead to their next matchup, as they travel to Genesee Community College for the second leg of their road trip on Sunday afternoon.
