The Mohawk Valley Women's Basketball team came up short in a tough road matchup against Herkimer College this week, as the Generals avenged their early-season loss to the Hawks with a balanced scoring attack.
Nataya McGee led the way for Mohawk Valley with a strong all-around performance, finishing with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Despite her efforts, the Hawks were unable to contain Herkimer's offensive depth, ultimately falling to their Region 3 rivals.
The loss evens the regular season series between the two teams, as Mohawk Valley claimed victory in their first meeting back in November.
The Hawks will look to bounce back on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Fulton Montgomery for a showdown with the Raiders. Tip-off is set for 1:00 PM.
