The Lady Hawks scored three unanswered goals in the second half en route to a 3-1 win in the opening round of the Women's National Soccer Tourney in Batavia.
Jazmyn Gillette tied the game in the 59th minute on a goal assisted by Reilly Rich. Rich put the Hawks ahead in the 77th minute with Gillette putting the game out of reach with her second goal of the contest just three minutes later. MVCC outshot the Roadrunners 32-2.
#3 MVCC will play #2 Brookhaven in the NJCAA DIII Women's Soccer Championship - Semifinal at 6:30 Friday night.
