The first half started off strong for the Hawks as Amber Pierma scored the first goal of the game off of a great assist from Ella Hutchins. Hannah Pcola continued her astounding play holding Jamestown scoreless in the first half, as the Hawks offense kept heavy pressure on the Jayhawks throughout.  Lexi Bates and Jordyn Squire (2) kept the ball moving and did a great job creating scoring opportunities throughout the first half, and their assists proved to be very important to the Hawks success. 

As the game went on, Mohawk Valley's aggressive offense struck 4 more times in the first half as Selena Mathews, Jordyn Squire, Lexi Bates (2) found the back of the net to make it 5-0 going into the break. 

Holding a 5-0 lead, the Hawks added another goal by Amber Piersma on an assist from Lexi Bates, that made it 6-0 and ended up being the final goal of the contest. 

Mohawk Valley Women's soccer will be back in action at 4:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 21st, as they take on Adirondack Community College.
