MV Women's soccer completes impressive stretch, Improves to 6-1

MVCC women's soccer completed a stretch of 5 games in 8 days this past week.

Over that stretch, they defeated SUNY Adirondack 9-0, SUNY Broome 7-0, Fulton Montgomery CC 12-0, capped off the weekend with a 10-0 win over NJ's Brookdale CC, and lost a tough one on the road against a Monroe CC to go to an impressive 6-1 on the seasons.

Sophomore Amber Piersma continues her storybook career leading the Hawks in goals so far this year with 10. Freshman Megan Canipe is currently leading the Hawks in assists, with 11. Between the pipes, Sophomore goalie Hannah Pcola continues leaving her mark in the Hawks history history book, by leading MV with 18 saves.

The Hawks return to action October 4th, as they take on Onondaga Community College in a game slated for 4:00 PM in Utica.
