MV Women's Soccer sails past Onondaga

In a hard fought battle on Wednesday night, the Mohawk Valley Women's soccer team improved to 7-1 on the season after a huge win over Onondaga.

In a game where the Hawks' freshman talented shined bright, it was a Krista Panko who got on the board first in the 51st minute of action as she broke throught the Lazers defense and found the back of the net for the Hawks. 

In the 61st minute, her fellow freshman Midfielder Megan Canipe received a pass from Alexis Bates and found the back of the net to make it a 2-0 game. 

As Mohawk Valley's defense line held strong, so did Hannah Pcola once again. The sophomore goalie had 4 saves in route to another impressive complete game shut out.

The Hawks are back in action Friday evening as they take on Hudson Valley CC.
