Gary Parker has been employed by MVCC since 1976 as a technical Assistant to the Physical Education Department. He has been the Men and Women’s Cross Country Coach since 1989 and the Men and Women’s Head Coach since 1994. Under Coach Parker’s direction the entire program has flourished. He has guided over 300 athletes to All-American Status.

His Women’s Cross Country Teams have won 11 titles since 1991 and the Men were Champions in 1995. Coach Parker has been named National Coach of the Year 11 times. His women’s teams have been selected as “Team of the Decade” the past 2 decades. Between Track and Cross his teams have won 17 National Titles.

Mr.Parker attended MVCC where he participated on the Men’s Wrestling Team. He then continued his education at Suny Brockport where he earned a degree in Physical Education.  He currently has been married for over 35 years to his Wife Geraldine and has three children(Gregory, Genny and Garrett.)
