Mr. Shawn A. Racioppa joined the MVCC Women’s Volleyball staff Fall of 2022. He has over 18 years of coaching experience and has coached multiple sports at all levels. 

 He joined OHM BOCES Career and Technical Education Center as an Advertising Design/Multimedia Productions teacher in 2008.

Prior to joining BOCES, Mr. Racioppa spent 15 years working as a graphic designer and a volleyball coach for 13 years. A long-time resident of central New York, he graduated from Thomas R. Proctor High School, studied Advertising Design and Production/Marketing at Mohawk Valley Community College and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. Mr. Racioppa continued his education in marketing and psychology at SUNY Institute of Technology. He is certified in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

 In his free time, Mr. Racioppa volunteers with SkillsUSA and the Boilermaker Road Race, he also enjoys hiking, video production, photography and playing volleyball and golfing with his two kids.
