Mohawk Valley's Women's cross country team traveled to Finger Lakes CC this weekend, in hot pursuit of an NJCAA Region 3 Championship. 

Coming into an electric weekend, the Hawks were very excited and more then ready for their opportunity, and Coach Cull sang the praises of his Hawks all week leading up to the trip to Western New York. With that being said, when the lights came on, his Hawks did not disapoint.

Led by Lauren Suppe's 3rd place finish, Caleigh McQueeney's 5th place finish and Tessie Shafers 9th place finish, the Hawks rallied as a team to put themselves in position to have a great opportunity for a Region 3 championship. Katie Bauer, Madison Battisti and Lacey Meredith turned in all region all region level performances, and as they have all year, Marlee Shafer, Sydney Heights, Alex Townsend and Cheryl Biebly played an important part in contributing to the Hawks success and added value in many different areas. 

When all was said and done, Coach Cull's Hawks were able to achieve a 2023 NJCAA Region Championship for Mohawk Valley Community College's Women's Cross Country Team.
